New Criterion DVD Release
Finally, the long wait is over. "Weekend At Bernie's" at last gets the Criterion treatment it so richly deserves on DVD. It's been a long time coming, but with this release one of the last jewels of moviedom is finally presented as it should be.Features include:

Oh, gawd. The proper place for that movie is in the bargain bin for $9.99.
Evidently a Criterion DVD release isn't all that l33t. We were in Fry's over the weekend, and happened upon a dubious Criterion DVD release. I can't remember the title now, but I was ready to pick it up when I thought it would be priced somewhere between $9.99 to maybe $14.99.
Ahh, but no. With extras that a sober Binah would never want, they had the price jacked up to $39.99.
No. Again, I say no.
