Christmas party at Neiman Marcus

Christmas party at Neiman Marcus

Cindy's office Christmas party this year was at the Neiman Marcus store, downtown Dallas. Six floors of food, drink, and music. You could also browse the very expensive wares whilst you sipped on your white wine or white russian. I still don't get why NM is willing to allow this. Sure, they didn't allow red wine, but they had cranberry juice (cosmos, you know), which stains just as red. So you had a bunch of drunk party goers with their glasses of wine and drink and little plates of pasta or roast beef or dumplings milling about in the Fendi purse section, or the $20,000 wedding gown room, placing the wet glasses and dirty forks on the rosewood cabinet tops.

Oh well. It was fun, anyway.

I think it sounds like fun--is the store actually open so you can shop that night? If so, I imagine that's one reason why they do it.

And Jim, it would be so much fun to go to your party and see Bananarama! Although Harvey Nicks or Harrod's (if you were in London) would be fun, too.

No, the store isn't open in the "you can buy stuff" sense of open. You can browse and take notes and come back the next day, I suppose, but that's it.

However, you're free to break and/or stain anything that night...

I recommend Digeus Registry Cleaner and Windsty Tune Up Suite as they are the best know on the market. They find and fix most of errors in the system than any other. I run them every time when my computer starts crashing or working slow. They also help to prevent and fix Blue Screen of Death problem.
